Cabinet Construction Specifications: Odyssey cabinet systems are manufactured using the highest grade of materials to withstand vibrations and moisture exposed to in emergency services vehicles. Special MDO waterproof plywood is covered with thick high pressure thick, marine grade carpet and durable rubber or ambulance flooring. For longevity and durability edges are trimmed with PVC bumper strip installed into a machine slotted edge, drawer faces and doors are built with unbreakable black HDP composite and Odyssey uses only the highest quality hardware in the industry making Odyssey systems transferable from vehicle to vehicle for many years to come. Full extension drawer slides are used on all drawers and when applicable trays and drawers may be custom fabricated and welded aluminum components. Drawer dividers are removable, shelfves adjusteble, hinges stainless and compression style latches on drawers and doors to assure they will not open while the vehicle is responding to an incident.
